MM & SOL MOBILE MERGE
May 10 2005

Mobile Messenger and Sol Mobile today announced they have completed a merger of the two businesses. Mobile Messenger and Sol Mobile have worked together for more than four years in the mobile industry, with Sol Mobile providing technology and connectivity for Mobile Messenger.
Sol Mobile have rapidly become one of the top three messaging aggregators in Australia and this merger will strengthen the position of the company and add a range of innovative products to the suite. Mobile Messenger have been providing turn key mobile solutions for SMS, MMS and premium rate and now as the owner of the technology will have much better leverage in this booming market.
This merger represents one of the first steps in the likely industry consolidation, ensuring that as an entity they continue to be at the forefront of mobile technology and there is little doubt the combined company will be one of the leading Australian service providers.
Mobile Messenger head office will be in North Sydney and currently has 20 staff. The strong growth of the organization is such that sales offices have already been established in Melbourne and New York to spearhead an aggressive entry into the emerging Premium Market in the US and develop Mobile Messenger as an international brand. Connectivity has already been established in New Zealand, South Africa and Hong Kong and the company will continue their commitment to the Asia Pacific region.
In the past 2 months alone, the growth has continued unabated with the acquisition of three additional companies, bolstering Mobile Messenger’s suite of products and creating a total solution for all mobile requirements.
