Mobile Messenger celebrates another successful year! Here’s a recap of 2007.
In 2005 Steve Taylor, Mobile Messenger’s CEO, said “Our business model is simple we are an aggressive company. We don’t do things half-heartedly. We have systems and technology that make expansion easier. We are more then ready and capable of expanding even further.” The 2007 year truly embodied these words. It has been an exciting year for Mobile Messenger with record revenues, an investment deal with Silver Lake Sumeru, massive company growth, new market launches and a host of new products on the horizon.
Here are some notable highlights:
Company Growth
In 2007 there were many exciting changes for Mobile Messenger. In July, the company moved its headquarters from Culver City to Santa Monica, CA. This opened up doors to an incredible growth as MM has expanded from having one employee in 1999 when it was created, to now a strong team of over 160 employees at the end of 2007. Mobile Messenger prides itself in having built a team filled with dynamic people who each contribute their part to the MM vision.
Localized Customer Care Center
In 2007 Mobile Messenger also took on Customer Care process for our clients, providing the consumer with a reliable contact to manage any issues or questions they may have. Mobile Messenger has a customer service support team located in various offices worldwide to support our client campaigns that run across the globe. Currently, customer care teams are located in the US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and in the UK. Our customer care teams understand the importance of providing timely responses along with the proper handling of any refund requests or billing issues that may arise. Mobile Messenger offers customer service for all of our client campaigns so clients can focus on the marketing aspect. Managing customer care allows us to ensure that regulatory compliance is met and that customer care / handling practices remain consistent across the board.
Events
Mobile Messenger was a hit exhibitor at popular events in 2007 such as Adtech, Affiliate Summit, and MMA forums. Visitors from around the globe stopped by the booths to learn more about our role in the exciting mobile entertainment industry. Each event helped to further establish MM’s presence in industry, and highlight our unique business model. Further adding to MM’s Awareness, our CEO Steve Taylor participated in speaking panels at both Adtech New York and MMA Forum LA.
New Market Launches
At the beginning of 2007 Mobile Messenger successfully operated in US and Australia. Our global footprint has since expanded to include successful, revenue-generating operations across the UK, New Zealand, Canada and most recently Ireland. “By delivering quick-to-market mobile entertainment campaigns that generate substantial revenue streams for our customers, we have been able to continue to solidify our leadership position in established markets,” says Steve Taylor. Look out for Mobile Messenger in 2008 as it promises to be another year filled with exciting launches into new markets across the globe.
Silver Lake Sumeru
In October, Silver Lake Sumeru acquired a majority stake in Mobile Messenger. This was another major milestone for Mobile Messenger. Steve Taylor, CEO of Mobile Messenger, said, “Over the past eight years, we have built a leading position in one of the world’s fastest growing industries. Silver Lake Sumeru’s technology focus and operational expertise make them an ideal partner to help execute the next steps toward our global growth strategy.” We are thrilled about our partnership and look forward to achieving even greater levels of performance and profitability.
